GTA VI returns to Vice City, but the revealed setting is not simply a larger version of one familiar city. Rockstar has named six distinct parts of Leonida, each carrying a different economy, landscape and social rhythm.

A useful map guide should do more than repeat those names. It should explain what makes each region legible, how water and roads may shape travel and where the available evidence ends.
Vice City is the center, not the whole map
Vice City is the urban center of the revealed world. Beaches, high-rise apartments, nightlife, causeways and crowded commercial streets place wealth and spectacle beside ordinary neighborhoods. The city is designed to be recognized from its color and skyline before a map label appears.

The most convincing scenes are not limited to landmarks. A packed beach, an aging motel and a busy elevated highway suggest a city that continues through work, rent, tourism and traffic. Those ordinary systems give the neon an environment to belong to.
The Leonida Keys connect leisure with Jason's past
The Keys are presented as a tropical chain where life can look casual while criminal work remains close to the water. Jason's employment with drug runners ties the location directly to his background rather than treating it as a holiday edge of the map.
Long roads, bridges and boats are likely to define movement through the islands. The geography should make distance feel different from city driving, because a route can be constrained by water even when two points appear visually close.
Grassrivers is a wetland, not empty space
Grassrivers is Leonida's broad wetland region. Airboats, shallow channels, wildlife and limited roads give it a physical language unlike the city. The area can slow movement and make local knowledge more important than raw vehicle speed.
Wetlands are difficult open-world spaces because flat scenery can become repetitive. Vegetation density, water depth, wildlife behavior, weather and sound will determine whether Grassrivers feels like an ecosystem or a corridor between missions.
Port Gellhorn carries the weight of decline
Port Gellhorn is described through abandoned attractions, cheap motels and a once-popular coast that has lost some of its shine. That makes it more than a smaller Vice City. Its identity is built from things that used to draw people and the businesses that remain after attention moved elsewhere.
Such a setting can support a different kind of crime story. Empty commercial spaces, struggling neighborhoods and a working port create opportunities that do not require luxury towers or celebrity nightlife.
Ambrosia shows the industrial side of Leonida
Ambrosia sits around heavy industry and the Allied Crystal sugar refinery. Its importance is economic rather than scenic. The region provides work, freight movement and the political influence that comes from controlling a major local employer.
Industrial locations also give missions practical variety: large machinery, rail or truck routes, storage areas and shifts of workers. These are possibilities suggested by the environment, not a confirmed activity list.
Mount Kalaga expands the state beyond coastal Florida
Mount Kalaga National Park introduces higher ground, forests and remote trails to the northern edge of the revealed state. It changes the silhouette of Leonida and offers distance from the dense coastal corridor.
Rockstar describes hunting, fishing and off-road routes around the park. Those activities make the region a destination rather than scenery at the boundary. Its final size and connection to the rest of the map remain unknown.
What the aerial footage reveals about scale
The parachute view shows several islands, bridge links, low neighborhoods and a distant tower cluster. Atmospheric haze preserves the skyline while separating it from closer buildings. The result communicates breadth without supplying a measurable boundary.

Fan maps are most useful when they keep confirmed matches separate from estimates. Perspective can distort distance, and trailer cameras are chosen for composition. Until Rockstar publishes a map or the game can be measured, a precise square-mile claim is not reliable.
