Digital purchases during the eligible period include one month of GTA+. These preorder benefits are not evidence that the main story has been reduced for Standard buyers.
What changes with Ultimate
Rockstar describes the Ultimate Edition as an additional collection of items threaded across Jason and Lucia's story, with benefits spanning more than one part of the game. Buyers should examine the exact store listing in their region because availability and presentation may differ.
The extra value depends on whether convenience items, cosmetics and online benefits remain useful after the opening hours. A longer list does not automatically produce a better first playthrough.
You can delay the expensive decision
The separately available Ultimate Edition Upgrade means a Standard purchase does not permanently close the door. Players can see how the game performs and whether its additional systems matter before paying for the upgrade.
